Privacy Policy

ETA System Doctor is developed by R. J. Associates and Co. (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the ETA System Doctor desktop application for Windows, the ETA Browser Guard browser extension, and this website. Questions or requests: das2techconsultancy@gmail.com.

Purchases. Payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive your name, email address, and order confirmation so we can issue your license key. We never see or store your card or banking details — those go directly to Razorpay under Razorpay’s privacy policy.

License activation. When you activate or validate a license, the app or extension sends your license key and an anonymous device identifier (a random installation ID — not your name, files, or browsing data) to our license server. We use this solely to enforce the activation limit and show your subscription status.

Free trial (browser extension). Starting the 7-day trial records the extension’s random installation ID and the trial start date on our license server, so the trial period can be enforced. Nothing else is sent.

Support. If you email us, we keep the correspondence so we can help you.

This website. Our hosting provider keeps standard, short-lived server logs (IP address, requested page) for security and troubleshooting. Optional cookies are described in Section 6.

All scanning, cleaning, optimization, and phishing-link analysis happens locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store:

• Your files, documents, or their contents
• Your browsing history, visited URLs, or search queries
• Passwords, cookies, or form data from your browser
• Usage analytics or behavioral telemetry from the app or extension

The extension checks the pages you visit for phishing patterns entirely inside your browser, using an offline detection engine. The addresses of pages you visit are analyzed locally and are never transmitted to us or to any third party. The extension’s only network communication is with our license server, limited to: your license key, its random installation ID, and trial status. It does not inject ads, does not alter search results, and does not sell or share browsing data — in accordance with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

The desktop app checks GitHub (github.com) for new releases to offer you updates. This is a standard web request to GitHub’s servers governed by GitHub’s privacy policy; we receive nothing from it.

This website uses only the cookies needed for basic functionality and, with your consent, optional preference cookies (such as your language choice). You can change your choice anytime via “Manage cookie preferences” in the footer. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

License and order records are kept for as long as your license is active, plus any period required for tax and accounting law. Support emails are kept for up to two years. You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you by emailing das2techconsultancy@gmail.com. Deleting license records will deactivate the associated license.

Our products are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page with a new effective date. Material changes that affect the app or extension will also be noted in the release notes of the version that introduces them.
